Camp Bestival 2011

Re-writing the rulebook on what a family festival should be, the award winning Camp Bestival has turned the festival model on its head with an awe inspiring family shindig that puts little ones and their music-loving parents at the centre of the experience.

Set in the stunning grounds of Lulworth Castle in Dorset on 28th-31st July the event is a veritable wonderland, including 2 Kids Fields with over 100 free things for kids to do. With the young explorers taken care of the big kids can kick back too and drift off in to the escapist world that Bestival has set as its trademark. Curated by the formidable Mr Rob Da Bank the main stage will be graced by Blondie, Mark Ronson and a very special apperance from Laura Marling, plus sumpteous festival exclusives from The Gruffalo,High Fearnley-Wittingstalls River Cottage Cafe, Gavin Turks House of Fairy Tales and the English National Ballet.

Green Man 2011

Against the stunning back drop of the Brecon Beacons the magical Green Man festival comes to life. With Explosions in the Sky and Fleet Foxes as headliners in is sure to be an amazing weekend. Other acts include

Harvest At Jimmy's 2011, Suffolk

HARVEST is a lovingly curated end of summer celebration of the very best of the British food scene alongside the tastiest live performers and bands.

Our first foodie friends to confirm this year are Richard Corrigan, Paul Hollywood, Yotam Ottolenghi, Mary Berry, Jay Rayner, Stevie Earle, Monty & Sarah Don, Gennaro Contaldo and Francesco Mazzei. Also the award winning Gruffalo, a host of amazing bands and other delectable treats to be announced very soon. Wilderness 2011

Wilderness is a pioneering new festival of music, food, learning, literature and rejuvenation. Set amongst the LAKES, FORESTS and PARKLAND of Oxfordshire's exquisite Cornbury Estate, Wildreness will be an inspriational weekend for all ages.

Curated by the poelpe behind the award winning MAMA and SECRET GARDEN PARTY festivals, comes the WILDERNESS FESTIVAL - a place of celebratory arts in the most spectacular of settings.

Family activities are at the heart of the festival: the unique Wilderness Banquets are a daily occurrence & games on Cornbury Park 'front lawn' will be held too.

With theatre from The Old Vic and food by Sam & Sam Clark at Moro there will be something for everyone.

The stages will be filled with magical talent including Antony and the Johnsons, Gogol Bordello, Laura Marling and The Guillemots.

Alex James presents combines all of the things the Harvest team are passionate about; life, food, music and family. This is their dream, it embraces all of these things in abundance, under one sky. Watch Hugh Fearnley Whittingstall, Richard Corrigan, Rachel Allen and Mark Hix serve up their magic on the chef demo stage or shake your body to KT Tunstall, The Feeling, Fat Freddie's Drop and Athlete. Discover the award winning Charlie & Lola live and Roald Dahl's Fantastic Mr Fox in the inspired kids field. If that wasn't enough they even have the wonderful Wahaca and the Salt Yard doing pop up restaurants, exquisite boutique camping in the Harvest Hotel and loads more.

The End of the Road 2011

The End of the Road is an intimate festival held in September each year, in the beautiful surroundings of the Larmer Tree Gardens in Dorset.

The festival ethos is to provide music lovers with a magical experience and an escape from the daily grind. The food provided is as organic as possible, along with a good selection of high quality local ales. The forests are strewn with fairy lit paths that lead to a hidden Victorian piano stage, a library that winds around a beautiful old tree, the famous flashy dance floor, and many more breath-taking surprises.
2011 includes Joanna Newsom, Beirut, and Mogwai  as headliners and Midlake will make their only UK festival exclusive appearance at this year'. Joining them will be Laura Marling, Lykke Li,  and more.

Plus....Comedy, Cinema Tent, Woodland Library & Literary Area, Workshop & Children's area, Four bars including the Somerset Cider Bus, Amazing Food Stalls, Forest Dance Floor, Scrabble Sunday, Ringo Music Bingo, Croquet on the Lawn, The Victorian Piano Stage, Art Installation and The Enchanted Forest.
